Meaning that during test launches the park is closed down to prevent any errant missiles from taking out a family sledding down the dunes. Luckily for Jackie and myself, the park was open all day and we had free range to explore the gypsum sand dunes. At the day&#8217;s finale we were rewarded with the clearest, most saturated sunset I had ever seen.
